Workshop Hour Meters

Recently a number of hour meters have been installed. These hour meters will give us new ways of managing the stationary power tools.

We can now do usage-based preventive maintenance schedules which will be more relevant than calendar-based schedules. It will also allow us to see the extent of usage of the machines and when to replace the consumables such as saw blades, sanding media, thicknesser cutter inserts, etc.
